Install Minecraft Forge 1.8.9

Run the official Forge 1.8.9 installer (recommended build 11.15.1.2318 or higher) for your launcher.

Move jar into your mods directory

Place catboys-monster-1.0.0.jar inside %appdata%\.minecraft\mods (Windows) or ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods (macOS/Linux).

Launch and enter your license key

Start Forge 1.8.9. The obsidian login dialog will appear. Paste your key (Ctrl+V) and click Authenticate. Your session will be AES-encrypted locally.
